PRINCIPAL
Steven Schneemann
Steven received his Bachelors of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and his Masters in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. He has worked on hundreds of projects in dozens of states and across 4 continents. His extensive experience includes secondary and higher education, commercial, institutional, retail, and corporate work, as well as single and multi-family residential projects. He has also worked as a Professor of Architectural design at Lawrence Technological University for sixteen years. He is a former mayor and has continued his involvement in the city government through his role on City Council. On the weekends he enjoys sailing and spending time with his family, as well as snowboarding and skiing in the colder months.
SENIOR ADVISOR
Ron Cieslak
Ron received his Bachelors of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. He has been involved in hundreds of public and private institutional projects throughout the state of Michigan, with a focus on libraries and churches. His exceptional insight into the programming and functionality of institutional projects provides a firm foundation that allows him to turn his clients dreams into reality. His extensive experience has allowed him to stay ahead of design trends as a design leader who understands current and future design trajectories. Ron’s approach to design is centered around helping each client understand and define its wants and needs and then, together, then transforming those perimeters into successful parameters into successful designs.
ARCHITECTUAL AND INTERIOR DESIGNER
Dianne Schurg
Dianne received her Bachelor's of Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. In addition to architectural design and engineering, Dianne’s work has included space planning, furniture specifications, and finish selections for private and public sector projects, including over a dozen public libraries and numerous office, health care, educational facilities, as well as single family residential projects. She also provides master planning, programming and space analysis for many of MCD's clients. She is an allied member of ASID, and is currently taking examinations for NCIDQ certification. She takes a more holistic approach to design and carefully orchestrates balanced solutions by understanding the importance of functionality when approaching a project, while also considering variables such as social, cultural and environmental influences. She was born and raised in the metro Detroit area and is involved in her local church community. Dianne enjoys traveling and most recently spent time visiting Japan. She loves spending quality time with her family, taking her dog on adventures, and exploring the outdoors.
ARCHITECTUAL DESIGNER
Griffin Angeliu
Griffin Angeliu holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master's in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and is currently working toward his professional licensure. With a focus on both client needs and the broader community, Griffin brings a thoughtful, context-driven approach to every design project. His diverse portfolio includes municipal buildings, commercial spaces, and churches, each reflecting his commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design. Outside of work, Griffin is always eager to learn new skills and enjoys hitting the slopes for some snowboarding when the weather turns cold.
DESIGN ENGINEER
Genevieve Schneemann
Genevieve Schneemann received her Bachelor's in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Before coming to MCD, she worked as a municipal engineer reviewing commercial and industrial building plans and designing on road and water main projects. In her time at MCD, she has worked on many commercial and residential projects, a majority of which are in and around the Metro Detroit area. Her approach to design is highly personalized for each client, drawing from their needs and stylistic wants with influence from her own architectural and engineering experience. In her free time, Genevieve enjoys staying active with activities such as pickleball, swimming, snowboarding, tennis, and lifting weights.

Caroline Frazier
Caroline received her Bachelor's in Marketing from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. A dynamic, creative, and self-motivated leader, she brings extensive experience in marketing, development, graphic design, and public relations. Caroline excels at developing positive relationships with clients and ensuring that partners and clients have exceptional experiences. Originally from Farmington, Michigan, she now resides in West Palm Beach, Florida with her husband and Sheepadoodle, Aristotle. Passionate about travel, she has enjoyed exploring destinations such as Iceland, South Korea, Zambia, and Spain.
DESIGNER
Tedi Zurbo
Tedi Zurbo received his Bachelor of Architecture from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He has worked on numerous projects across different countries including US, UK, Norway, Turkey and Albania among others. His experience includes civic, single and multi-family residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Tedi is currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design at Oakland Community College in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where his academic excellence has kept his place on the Dean's List. His curiosity about other cultures has led him to explore numerous countries and acquire proficiency in several languages, including Albanian, English, Turkish, German, and Italian.
